Merlin^® has been written to operate on all systems running Windows™ on standard PC architecture - this means it can (and does!) run on everything from desktop PCs or laptops to specialist point of sale hardware or touch screen units.

Whilst our software is not hardware-specific in this sense, we are proud to work in partnership with NCR plc. As a Gold Partner with NCR we are able to offer top quality hardware from one of the world’s largest EPOS manufacturers. We currently offer the all new RealPOS™ 21 touch screen unit (pictured below). These systems are manufactured to the highest quality and will give you many years of trouble free operation.

In addition, we also offer a full range of EPOS peripherals from a simple cash drawer to sophisticated hand-held data capture units. Our full range of hardware is available to purchase on-line from our e-commerce shop.

If you want a ‘complete’ system we also offer the Merlin^® POS Pos-in-a-box solution. This comprises of a complete touch screen system, including scanner, boxed and ready to use with Merlin^® software already pre-installed for you.

Should you already have a PC and want to convert it into a fully configured EPOS terminal, you can obtain specific hardware to ensure a trouble-free operation. By selecting the appropriate Merlin^® software modules you can be assured that your system will be up and running in a matter of minutes, from opening the box.
